Through funding from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Tufts University and GeoCat completed the development of an open source OGP Harvester: a cloud-based, Solr geospatial metadata clearinghouse. This centralized platform uses automated federated metadata harvesting protocols and supports multiple metadata formats to facilitate federated metadata sharing through the OGP. The application is currently available in the OGP code repository.
